This morning, 0715, male group vocal SSB weak under WABC, mixing with WKFB-PA's oldies. The vocal sounds country. Unfortunately there are no US daytimers with an 0715 LSR. There is only one fulltime station with an 0715 LSR, and that's WWCN-FL, which is unneeded here.

Country would fit WYHG-GA or WAIS-OH, both of which have January LSR's 0745.

I have a clip a bit after that with an announcer saying something like "77-DJ" and giving a phone # sounding like a 513 AC ( Cincinnati ). WAIS isn't in that code, isn;t that close to Cincinnati. WCGW-KY isn't close either.

( The clip is mis-labelled as '0110' - it should be '0111' )

Sounds like 77-DJ to me also.

You guys might think I'm nuts, but after washing this thru an EQ several times and listening repeatedly, this is most certainly a preacher-type saying "seven-seventy K__C".
Could this possibly be KCBC out in CA on their night rig? I cant make out the full calls, but it's definately a K call ending in C or possibly G. Very likely a religious station, but who knows if it's local programming or brokered.

The phone number is throwing me off too.

Thats the best my headphone-blasted ears can do on this one.

I am now thinking that may not be a phone number - it may be something else. The inflection just isn't right and there don't seem to be enough numbers. In fact it actually sounds like a zip code. If it is, that's a Pittsburgh-area code and this may only be WKFB again. That said, however, I still hear "77-DJ" or very similar - and that's 'seventy-seven' as opposed to 'seven-seventy'. And it's just not 'KFB' or 'KHB'.

Here is a clip containing the unid country SSB 1/11 0715 EST. WKFB is there under WABC when this starts and overrides it, but both are fading by the end of the clip. Hopefully, someone will recognize this.
