"You are listening to thirteen-forty, W N B H, New Bedford"

(WNBH is a standards station on 1340, maybe I should move to New Bedford :-)

I hear something different... it sounds like "AM thirteen forty ABC country"

Nope. I think Bob is right. After the 8th or 9th listen I hear...

"You're listening to AM 1340 WNBH New Bedford"

And it sounds more like New Bedfurd than New Bedford.

But shouldn't they be pronouncing it "New Bedfudd" ?
