7/24, 1525 EDT, while at a Lake MIch beach near Gulliver, MI (EN75ax), hazy weather, I was surprised to discover that the time display switched from roaming to Verizon (native carrier for my handheld cell phone) and from EDT to CDT, depending on which way I held the handset!
The nearest territory on CDT is literally dozens of miles away.
I tried making a call while on the CDT connection, but no call could be competed:-(
