This clip is from February 18, 2007. It is my farthest catch on the AM dial from my QTH.. 2031 miles.

I was able to catch WIBC in a fade. What you'll hear is a female voice, it is a commercial for "Star Restaurant Equipment and Supply"

At :23 you can hear "Star Restaurant Equipment and Supply"
At :25 you can hear "Sapulveda Boulevard between Victory and ??? in Van Nuys"
And at :30 you can hear "starkitchen.com"

I love this clip. I never thought I'd be able to hear LA from here.

Considering that there are *2* TN stations on 1070 that run 1 kW or more at night, that's quite an accomplishment!

Years ago KNX made it to New England often. Maybe when CBA moves to FM and clears the frequency, it can happen again. It can happen, that is, if WTIC turns it's nighttime IBOC off someday.
