More short Es skip

This photo is from July 10, 2007 of WREG-3 Memphis news. It's not much to look at but if you squint your eyes or make the pic small you can see the newscaster. That is news reporter Alex Coleman. ( Go to the WREG-TV website and click on "About WREG" and you will see pics of the reporters and if you click on someone's pic it gives you an "anchor bio". Handy feature! On this day I also got AR, OK, KS & SD on FM.
According to Girard Westerberg's spreadsheet, WREG is 428 miles from here!!

Thanks, Danny....WREG-3 is the only station in Tennessee I have gotten by E-skip. Funny getting E-skip coming from your very own home state!

I happened to pass by the WREG TL in October, 2004.

I noticed that they had just replaced an 8-bay antenna with a new 3-bay antenna (likely to make room for an antenna for DTV on the same tower).

I thooght that the 3-bay, not as able to focus RF at the horizon as an 8-bay, would make WREG a better target for short Es.

I have yet to log it at Temperance.
