advice on antennacraft model FMSS

Hi,
im back to the hobby after several years,

this morning i order my APS-9B,rotor and Glen Martin quad mount for the roof, but i wont be able to install all this before next summer, so for now im planning using a tripod on the ground with an omnidirectional antenna like the AntennaCraft FMSS.........any advice good or bad will be apreciated

I have two Antennacraft FM6 beams and like them. Well built and work well. You should be happy with the FMSS. :)
