This is a brand new site and it appears to be put together by broadcasters, although there is a section for DXers. There is more info there on the suspension of nighttime iboc by ABC (see the Dropping like Flies section). I think it's definitely worth a bookmark.

It is indeed done by broadcasters and is intended primarily for broadcasters as the 'join' portion asks for station calls. I could join anyway and put my ham calls there, but I think it might undermine their efforts if a lot of DX'ers joined.

Two recent stations joing the 'no IBOC' parade are WSB-750 and KOA-850, both 50 kw ND powerhouses. Hopefully, we'll see more.
Here in DFW, KRLD-1080 is turning IBOC off at night. Even their hourly legal ID is different. The daytime ID clearly adds "KRLD-HD1" while the one at night omits that.

Now let's get FM to join in this Stop-IBOC.....after all, DXers take precedence in anything "radio"!
(I figure, if subchannels are only 10-20% power of the main, what's the point?? What's the ratio anyway?)
I think instead of going IBOC, they need to invest in SCA. :o

My understanding is that it's 1%.

Ouch!!!
So much for getting an HD radio for my workplace.....I wanted to hear WPOW 96.5's HD-3 during baseball games (WQAM 560).....my co-workers were complaining about the buzz in the building from listening to AM...but for sure, I won't be able to land any HD's at the job.
1%.....all the more reason......

Oh, about the above.....just as well....my team will move to another AM station in 08....I think it's a better night signal, 790.

I hear your local sports station 790 all the time at night here! It does have a good night signal. WQAM only comes in sometimes here at night.

Hi Mike, well, Millbury is part of analog, MA, haha! Bob Savage posts a lot on the following list, he's one of the ones who started stopiboc.com. It could just be having server problems I'll ask him. BTW there's some interesting exchanges between anti and pro-iboc engineers and amateurs here in this list mostly civil, some really funny stuff too:

this ones pretty funny, well I think so anyway, I started it:

On the Radio-Info HD list Bob Savage just posted that the stopiboc site should be up soon, but the sever was bought by a new owner within the past few months who hadn't been backing up the files or something to that effect.
