Here in south FL, Es in December is quite a rarity. But I got the following:

KOET-3 OK
unid 3 w/ Ellen....Ellen's website leads to KYTV 3 MO, I am sure it was them
Locals 2/4/5 going crazy with venetian blind effect, but unable to decipher anything.

Nobody else getting Es in December?

Christopher, your locals 2, 4, and 6 were in here (6 was clobbering my local), as was Cuba and an unID XEW relayer on channel 2.

There's been a little bit of Es this month from here. Nothing to crow about.

Dec 5 the MUF reached FM but not quite solid enough to positively ID this 90.3 from Cuba. I suspect it is the Radio Progreso in the eastern part of the country.

Dec 7 again weak Es barely into FM towards the west with 93.9 KINT El Paso, TX ID'ed

Dec 11 unattended recording in the afternoon resulted in this 93.9 Guatemalan with a "98.3 Quetzaltenango" ID that has to be TGPU since both are "La Grande" stations. I've heard two other "La Grande" station ID's with city on this station in the past. Also caught an unidentified TV6 with Spanish audio coming across the car radio while at work this day.

Really, Danny, it's no biggie here. No astronomical distances or anything. Only bugaboo at present is that if I stay home, it's only ch 3 that I can use, generally.

My antenna, as u know, is a simple Radio Shack VU 90.....at 20' at home.....when I am away, I have another one on a tripod, 20' for tropo or 15' for Es.

Strangely enough though, I still have not heard Belize on FM, tho' certainly possible. During a Central American opening once, I heard reggae on 95.1 & thought "Finally, Belize!"....turned out to be Radio Z in Costa Rica.

My future wife seems to be accepting of this silly hobby of ours.....I plan to see her tomorrow w/ a copy of the VUD with my DX at hand ;) "For better, for worse"....that's part o' the promise!! ha ha :o
