Now here's something that doesn't happen every day. I've attached a two-minute recording of CITI 92.1 Winnipeg from 0325 today. An ad for Wild Planet Music, a PSA, and an ad for Rogers Video, into a Genesis song. If I didn't know better, I'd swear this was some, uh, 1200 mile Tr.
Also attached an oldie-but-moldy; my fist reception of CITI, with calls.
CJAY (Calgary), CHMX (Regina), and CITI (Winnipeg) all common here via Ms.

Nice catch, Dave! Looking back over the prop loggers there was some aurora last night and some Auroral Es reported on 50MHz. Did you notice any other Aurora? Do you ever get Auroral Es?.
I'm noticing many more than usual short Ms burns this morning while DXing 93.9. I've had 4 id's. WRRR St Marys, WV again at 689 miles with another 3 second burn "93-R weather" one nice 8 second burn with both CIDR Windsor, ON 834 miles and WLWD Columbus Grove, OH 739 miles with playlist song matches. This same double station burn has happened before, both in the same general geographic area. And I got a 3 second part of an ad for "All Star Cheerleading and Tumbling facilities" which is in the Chicago area, came right up with Google. So I'm assuming WLIT Chicago, a 4kw station at 791 miles. This would be a new state on FM but I'm not satisfied with the id. There's 3 other 93.9's in Illinois. One of these days I'll get a better id on one of them.

Hi Randy,
It's possible that CITI was AuEs, though usually when I've had that prop mode it's been a little more consistent. This does have some rapid fades that are more akin to Ms. If it had lasted even a minute longer, I would not count it as Ms, but I have had 2-minute Ms burns before.
Last year I had 5 or 6 overnight Es experiences in the Winter. And not just up north (though MN was common) - I had Colorado and Oklahoma for a half an hour in the middle of the night last January.

Nice going on the 93.9's, Randy.
I've also noticed Ms activity remains at high levels this morning. Yesterday, it didn't really "give up" until about 2PM local time. I'm on 98.9 now, a frequency I will lose to a new local (CP granted a couple months ago, and they've been on testing from time to time).
