Pr Dtv?

Please tell me Puerto rico is not switching to digital as well...Took me almost 2 years to finally ID WKAQ-2 as the mysterious spanish tv ES running a dragon cartoon (turns out it was Dragon Booster, which was made up here in Canada!) Only realized it was them after receiving WKAQ AGAIN last summer!
So please tell me I am not going to lose this awesome 2x ES target along with all my beautiful US CCI...I looked around the net couldn`t find info re them switching to digital anywhere
anyone knows?

I *may* have seen WKAQ once or twice but never got any type of ID from it, so I'm not counting it. And this will be my last summer to try for it. Yes, WKAQ is going digital on ch25! This is one station I wish would stay analog. I'm sorry for the bad news.

But the situation in PR is so different than that of the

mainland...I can`t make any sense of this...
That is very disappointing news indeed for everyone and for me in particular, but that`s too long a story to go into here...
But at least we`ll still have Mexico right?....

At least we still have Mexico and the rest of Central America, and we in the US will still have Canada for a little while longer.

I see the NIMBY attitude here.
Back in the day, I (and the other Detroit DXers) had always hoped that WJBK-2, WDIV-4 and all of the Detroit FMs would somehow go QRT, leaving the channels free to DX everything else.
I think ALL DXers want THEIR locals, and not anyone else's, to go off.
