Good afternoon.

Just been receiving an educational type cartoon about the alphabet
here in S Portugal on Ch 2 for about 30 minutes from 15.55UTC.Just before I
started recording the audio there was a reference to "Public Television".
Channel has zero offset.(around 55.249995 MHz)I'll post a bit of the recording later.Gone by about 16.30UTC.Did audio recording only, video was a real mess and not too strong.

DX Sherlock shows one contact from the Canary Islands to the Great Lakes
area now and nothing else so I would assume it's WGBH Boston if it uses zero
offset?? If not then it's some other station.

Something briefly came up with it on 55.26 and there was a very weak channel 3 signal at one point.

Well I doubt it's my WPBT Miami, as you are referring to about 12 noon my time, which is time for "Gina D's Kids Club" which has very little animation.

Anyway I am checking here....at the time u saw it, WGBH had "Word World" at 11:55am (which might be the show) followed by "Caillou" at noon (animated, but not teaching the alphabet).

WUND-TV in North Carolina, also PBS ("UNC TV" in lower right) has Word World at noon.

Please check the above site, by our own Mr. Grabow. You will see that on the east coast, WPBT & WUND have zero offests, while WGBH does not.

By all means, bookmark it! It will be gone in a few months, Ryan said.

Hi CD from Hugh

Many thanks for this information. It does seem to be "Word World"
& points to WUND as was zero offset.

Clip attached, there was a slight rumble in the background which
appears to be something on their audio.

That's a great site...

I have a lot more of "Word World" so if anyone would like some extra,
it won't be available next year!!! Buy now while stocks last!!!

Have a good 4th July!!

All the Best

Hugh
