By far the best opening I've experienced in the winter...

#1. 92.9 KDCD San Angelo, TX "Lone Star Country 92.9"- 1,554 miles (New overall FMES record)- at the end a fade into KTGL with a very appropriate song, "Lovin every minute of it"
#2 & 3. 92.9 KTGL Beatrice, NE "Eagle 92-9"- 1,169 Miles
#4. 92.3 KMXW Newton, KS "Magic 92.3"- 1,225 Miles
#5 92.3 KTTN Trenton, MO "KTTN Classic Country"- 1,002 Miles

#2 92.7 KLOZ Eldon, MO "Mix 92.7"- 966 Miles
#3 92.9 KMXN Osage City, KS "Max-FM"- 1,127 Miles

Heres a little map I made up showing the stations.
Blue dots/lines are confirmed.
Brown dotes/black lines are assumed or possible.
Red is the path to KDCD.

Compressed about as much as I could for those on dialup...

And yet another map of that fine late night Es opening.
I just barely caught the edge of the opening, signals were short lived but came up strong.
93.9 WAVC Mio, MI 50kw 994 miles (assumed, country music)
90.3 WHBM Park Falls, WI 18kw 1088 miles (RDS id) a new logging
93.9 WMMA Nekoosa, WI 18kw 967 miles "Relavent Radio" id
93.9 KSOU Sioux Center, IA 50kw 1022 miles (RDS id)

It looks like I was parked on 93.9 but I WAS tuning and tuning for this event. Tropo had most frequencies difficult to use.
