Was it Randy who posted about WavePad a week or two ago? Whoever it was, thanks! Installed it on my laptop & have been running various frequencies for about a week, mostly 94.9. Plenty of pings. (and I'm now sick & tired of WMSR down by the state line...) (also managed yet another troposcatter relog of former local WOLX!)

Finally got a Ms ID overnight. Don't know exactly what time it hit - sometime between 2 and midnight. One of those "dream" hits -- "<hiss>point9 KLTY<hiss>" It's a relog, previous tropo.

Ad Total Recorder or Xcorder and some other programs that other DXers use to your operation and you can record all day and night if you want in 1 hour files or whatever works best and open them up in Wavepad for viewing, listening and editing. The timer function will tell you exactly what time it happened. I have some details on my website if you are interested. It was Jim Thomas who intruduced me to this type of recording last summer. Prior I used a Windows audio recorder that only goes one minute and it was only used when I heard something come in so naturally no Ms signals were caught. Since then I've managed to log over 80 stations on Ms.
