Good tropo this morning to Louisville, Cincinnati, Dayton and Bloomington. Was sitting on channel 58, just waiting for WPTD-DT to pop up, then...BOOM!...uh-oh...#$%*xyz!! thunderstorm forced me to disconnect. Managed to grab one new one before the storm ruined the fun.
#241 WJTS-LD 18 Jasper, IN. 138 mi. First low power DTV.
Ten minutes after I ran outside and unhooked everything the storm quit. Thanks Murphy. Oh well. It's supposed to storm (lightning, wind, rain, hail, tornadoes, locusts, politicians, etc.) for the next 36 hours, anyway.
You might be a Redneck if...you've ever watched a tornado from a lawn chair.

Hi Bob,
Nice catch with WSAZ.
I wish I'd gotten up a little bit earlier. I'd left the DTV box on channel 49, over night, looking south. (we've only got 'til mid - late June before WDKA-DT fires up on 49) When I checked the box it was showing WDRB. I turned the antenna around and started looking. I got the feeling that things were kinda going away by then. I haven't logged a WV DTV, yet.

Ed, I don't think you missed much getting up late, things didn't get good here til abt 8:30-9:00 AM.
I only saw one Cincy station WSTR-DT 33 and no Dayton at all. L-Ville, BWG KY were the strongest signals but late morning it went long and Lexington finally showed here.
It is interesting in how different the paths are for us. During the Texas opening you had lots of Dallas but none showed at all here. SE TX and NW LA +AR were the main signal areas here.

Yeah Bob, kinda strange how UHF propagation works. During the opening on the 18th one of my TV DXing neighbors, about 6 miles away, was logging stations from IL, IN, and MO. while I was logging AR, LA, and TX.
