The first transatlantic TV signals appeared in Portugal today.Usual smeary
pictures but unfortunately no audio.
There were some hams on 6 meters from Puerto Rico but I think Telemundo
has gone.
A mystery signal is a zero offset one with id in white writing(I think) at the top left in a small horizontal line.
This also has a very "hard sounding" 60 Hz vision buzz together with a small white band in the frame sync bar.Any ideas?

Also had a signal on 55.249240 MHz weak(other one above virtually dead on
55.25) peaking to the southwest which last year was TVES Venezuela
frequency.
Another mystery one is 55.262480MHz which appeared briefly around 1800 UTC.
Signals started around 16.30UTC and are still there but very weak.

Today there were some weak TA signals including a tiny ch A3 positive offset
one.
The ham on Puerto Rico was there again but no sign of the once strong Telemundo. This is strange because the FCC website lists it transitioning on June 12th.

Some stations may be gradually reducing power until "the big day". I believe my semi-local WPTV 5 has done this already. It may be a way to get the public to "hurry" to buy a converter box.

Check for "TA" Tele Antillas ch 2 in DOminican Republic, if you cannot see PR.

I think they are still there, moved carrier center freq down by 50 Hz since last year & not as punchy a signal.
This afternoon signals in again. All very weak and no audio so far this year.
