Hi
As an extension of my latest rant from another column.....it got me curious as to TV E-skip after June 12, what TV stations, *especially* on chs 2-6, will be carrying nightlight service. Maybe I will be able to catch one of them nightlighting 1000 miles from me.
Is there a definitive list out there of USA TV stations doing this? I understand WTVJ 6 here in Miami will do it, hopefully no more'n that!

All 3 low Vs in Boston, WGBH 2, WBZ 4, and WCVB 5 will be nightlighting.

Wunderbar....on the good side, those will be stations to try for from here....on the bad side, it makes me think that my 3 or 4 lowbanders will decide to stay on.....as if nobody has heard about this.....***sigh***

Found out.....
Bad news (for me): WPBT-2 will stay on for nightlight....
Good news (for Hugh & many others): WPBT-2 will stay on for nightlight!
But don't think I'm thrilled about this.....come July 12, I'll likely have only 2 weeks of Es season to frolic.
www.cbs4.com seems to imply that WFOR will shut off. If so, that'll be some relief. WTVJ 6 will nightlight.
Seems that a LOTTA ch 2's are staying on: Miami, Houston, Boston (from other sites I've seen)....

Told my better half on the phone that I wanna go back to the Keys again.....I have a whole week off in 15 days. Must take advantage....this has gone far enough.
BTW, re any PBS stations that are nightlighting, like WPBT.....when they whine and plead and beg for your donations, just remember that some of the $$$ is to keep (a) that analog nightlight on, (b) those subcarriers on that some aren't even aware of.
Soapbox off :)
