I received this Saturday 13th June at 1500utc on channel 3 plus offset. At first I thought it could be WIPM PR except they should have closed on Friday, can anyone ID anything from this short poor quality video or point me in the direction of a list of what countries and channels are still on air. At the time 6m was open from Europe to all of the Caribbean.

A slightly clearer version is available HERE (http://www.ukdx.org.uk/tv/61260_130609.mp4). It just happened to be peaking as I walked into the shack so the recording was thrown together a bit too quickly hence the glare on the screen from the window.

Hello.....I was unable to download the hi-quality video, and IIRC I think I saw the YouTube, but could not make any poz ID.

However....over the weekend, I found our FCC's list of Nightlight TV stations, and indeed WIPR in Puerto Rico is one of them. My home PC is down, so I cannot view the YouTube right now.

If this is "nightlight" info in Spanish, e.g., how to convert your analog TV to DTV, please inform the OP. You can pretty much mark it down that it is WIPM.

I think we've got this one sussed then, I had a reply from a Spanish DXer who translated the available audio "he is talking about digital TV and the new experience with higher picture quality." Thanks for the info, it's a new station for me so pleased I caught it before they switch off.

Does a list exist of the stations on air in Central and South America, we seem to be having an excellent transatlantic Es season and it would useful to know what else is available?

I recommend Danny's sites, www.tvdxexpo.com or www.tvdxtips.com ----they concentrate on lowband VHF channels in Latin America.
