This new station is now on the air testing. It's operating with 9 kW @ just under 500 ft., using the former WLIO-35 antenna. I caught it via tropo 7-30-09 (@ 119 miles) and took this screenshot. Too bad the analog stations via Es couldn't be identified as easily.

Had them in well (though briefly) Saturday evening, from Temperance (77.5 miles).
First non-full service digital seen from Temperance (Though I've seen several from Manistique, and the STAs of WGGN and WVIZ, 640w and 1kW respectively, both since upgraded and both now pests, might as well have been "LD"s).

Going by what I see there, will this be a dual affiliation???? Is any station doing that now? Is KXGN-5 MT still CBS/NBC? or did they add a DT-2 to split them up?

Block has quite a thing going here - a "quad stick" operation.
They own WLIO-DT (8), a full service station that goes back to 1953 (WLOK, channel 73!) with NBC on 8.1 and Fox on 8.2.
They also own WOHL-CD, channel 35, with ABC on 35.1 and CBS on 35.2.
The stations do business as "Lima Digital TV".
They can get away with this because the 8.2 is a subchannel, and 35.1/35.2 are not a full-service station.
Note that they both use the actual RF channels, they do not remap to 35 (8) and 25 (35).
WOHL-CD uses the antenna used by WLIO when it was analog 35.

I'm sure that the former WAGM-TV's & KXGN-TV's of the world wished they had digital back in the day, and did not have to cherry-pick network shows!
