I had an excellent opening into Mexico during the morning of Aug 20 and caught XEWO 2+ from Guadalajara with MUF building to 4. I had two co-channels with XEWO that I would appreciate some help with, if possible. I first got a station with only a 2 in the upper rt corner. The signal wasn't that great so all I could make out was the digit 2. I could not find anything that matched from Randy's excellent video of DX from Central America. Anyone have an idea who it might be? Also I got a second strong co-channel showing the Azteca-13 logo. It looks like the 20 khz offset. In fact the stations were so evenly matched on signal it was hard to decide which station produced the picture. From Albuquerque, I thought it might be XHCH 2-. I have included pictures, any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mitschler

The unid ch 2 looks like it could be XHI Los Mochis, Sinaloa or the repeater in Ciudad Obregon. I don't see the bird in the logo but it is a similar shaped "2"

I've been chasing the station with that "2" logo for two years. It generally comes in when XEWO is or has been received. I suspect it is XHAGU-2 Aguascalientes. They used to (and I suspect they still do) run programs during part of the day that are not on the Galavision schedule. When I've IDed them with their own programs, they used local logos.

The programs they've run in the past include reruns of Televisa soap operas, variety shows, and local news.

As for XHI-2 and XHQ-2/3 , the only logo I've seen the last few years is the Grupo Pacifico logo. This in spite of the number logos on their site. It was easy to distinguish between XHI-2 and XHQ-2 Guamuchil (XHQ-3 relayer) when they used the number logos with the ring.

Here are a couple of old IDs from XHAGU, one supered over Galavision programming, the other during local programs.

In checking my reception notes and a recording of this unID-2, I'm reminded that XHLGT-2 Leon GTO (cdc) is also often mixed with this station. My last reception of the unknown 2 was on July 27.
