Is no one interested in this add-on? I've been providing Ced with information and advice on decoding and displaying U.S. callsigns. It's not trivial given the micro's limited processing power. If there's no interest in this feature, I'll tell him not to bother.

Very much interested - I've sent that link to several who don't frequent here. I'd be elated just to "get back" the hexadecimal readouts that I'd grown so used to 2001-2008 with the TM-1001/modified Conrad RDS Manager/software. Having them decoded to display as US call signs would be additional icing on the cake.

I would absolutely be interested in this too, it looks like just the thing that would perfect the Sony as a total DX machine, since not being able to see the PI codes was one of its few weaknesses. Cool signal meter too.

It appears that the "factory assembly line" for these neat devices is gearing up well http://www.dxfm.fr/wordpress/?p=282 :)

I bought one and have it running with my XDR-F1HD. I wrote an article about it which is here (http://fmdx.usclargo.com/xdr.html):
Not a bad little unit. It took 2 weeks to get here, but it appears that at least a week was spent at JFK either sitting there or in customs.
It holds the PI code until it gets overwritten by another station's PI code. I wish it had an easy reset. I don't see one. Also I wish the type was larger. Or maybe I just need new glasses.
Check out the article.
