Have spent a fair bit of time on 1310 lately trying to nail several Spanish-language stations. I did nab a "Mega" ID with Latin music on 1310 for WEMG Camden NJ. But I cannot seem to get anything solid on a Christian Spanish-language spoken word station. I'm attaching several clips from Dec. 17.

We're likely talking about the east side of the continent - I was on my south wire, from just north of Toronto.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Well I went to www.radio-locator.com , entered 1310 & Spanish (they don't break down "Spanish" further)....it's only 33 watts at night, but WRVP Mt. Kisco NY might fill the bill....

Per the looks of the site, it might parallel 1330 in NYC & of course 530 in the Turks.

Two developments on 1310 re my initial post:

I deduced the Mega to be WEMG Camden NJ. It was the only one I could find listed as using the Mega slogan. Then, about a month ago, a heard a La Mega ID followed immediately by WTIK calls and a reference to North Carolina (in Spanish), followed by Mexican-style music. That's a definite, of course, for WTIK Durham NC, and a new catch for me. I decided on hearing this to delete my logging of WEMG even though the format heard earlier was Latin music and not Mexican music. I'll keep working on Camden.

I've also since managed - thanks to your comments above -- to parallel 1310Mount Kisco NY to 1330 NYC, for a new catch.

Thanks!
