Hello,

Though i've been a keen TVDX'er for more years than i can remember 30+, i have for about five years tried getting involved with FMDX but it doesn't quite give the same enjoyment nor thrill as what that TVDX used to give in the old analogue days. Now looking forward here in Europe to this seasons Spor 'E's when hopefully good DX of sorts will be in abundance?

Hi Dave,

I think there are a few TV DXers here who are in the same situation. With band 1 being empty, in many places there isn't much domestic Es to DX on television anymore. I think that some may have tried FMDxing but I can't see how it would hold the same appeal as that old analog TV DX did.

But then, there are some who just love DTV DXing and are glad analog is gone.

As for me, I've found that my location is almost perfect for 2-hop analog TV DX, so after over 40 years of mostly FM DXing, I'm really enjoying TV Es DXing. But I did pick up ten new FM logs during the February 1st Es a couple of weeks back.
