Hello! My name is Chris , 31 year old from Sweden. I'm a ham since 1995 but I'm FM-DX-ing with simple equipment. I can't TV-DX so much any longer since I'm living in an appartment without any possibility to have antennas.
I just have an active antenna for DVB-T since Sweden closed the last analogue transmissions i October 2007. :(

Welcome aboard! Hate to hear about your restrictions. Here in Estonia, I have a 1,5 m logperiodic antenna in my room and 20 db amp, although not because of any restrictions(I live in a farm), but for easy rotating - locals here are in one direction, Latvia is on another, and Finnish on third direction.

I have though a dipole on my balcony. I'm just missing a BNC-chassi for soldering for my stereo. The old one said thank you and good bye.
I live just on enough distance to receive Norway daily and Denmark if I beam towards Denmark and at ex. tropo openings. There is a TX in northen Denmark but I think it's beamed away from Sweden to not interfere with swedish stations.
