Here are some pix of my new shack! Hard to believe almost all of this stuff was stored in the attic and garage of my last QTH for over 10 years. Among the gems are my main DX tuner, a pioneer TX9500II which I modified myself, a Sansui 9090DB to drive my EV studio monitors, and the Marantz receiver drives the subwoofer (sometimes I like it LOUD). A Sony 13" TV, older (pre-bluescreen) Zenith VCR, Nakamichi cassette deck, and Sony CD changer are stacked on the left of one shot, sharing wall space with my TEAC open reel deck. The TEAC does not see much action lately, I'm recording almost exclusively on the PC and MD.

Across the room, I've got a 1948 vintage Zenith "porthole" TV, and a collection of assorted radios... Hallicrafetrs communications receivers, a Grundig tabletop (great sounding!), a complete Demco Satellite (for you CB fans), and many more.

On the desk sits my trusty Kenwood R-2000 with Timewave DSP, My soon-to-be hooked up Cobra 139 XLR with "extras", etc.

Oh, don't forget the turntable (DUAL CS-5000), scanners, cameras, LPs, CDs, and tapes. Yes, once we moved in here my priorities were set to create my ultimate PLAY ROOM, and as you can guess it's a work in progress.

I'll bite. Here's mine. For FM DX I use an old Subaru car stereo fed with a 6 element yagi up 40 ft. Shack is mostly ham gear, but there's always room for one more radio. ;)

Antenna pics later, still building the new stack.

This photos is of my shack in our laundry room. I have this for equipment:
Kenwood TS-430S with MFJ-949C tuner and PS-20 power supply.
Cobra 138XLR CB with CPI-2000 watt meter/SWR/modulation meter.
Kenwood TM-V7A Dual bander 144 & 440.
Radio Shack DX-302 Shortwave Receiver.
Rotator control boxes on either side of the monitor.
Portable Bentley TV - B&W but works great. Real hot front end in it.
Portable 8 channel xtal scanner.
Icom Micro 2AT HT for 2 meters. (in front of the phone in that pile of wires)
Pioneer Super Tuner - the old one, analog, no AM, plays tapes with a Radio Shack 40 watt equalizer bolted to it. (not in photos)
Some TV sets and a not working computer. Tape recorder with VOX operation. Several speakers. The little silver box on top of the TV set is my home made Phase box.
The computer is shot. I need to get another computer in here. It's all about the 'net, see, and my Win TV-D card and ATI All-In-Wonder cards are in that box as well.

Here are some shots of my "stereo" in the other room:
Crown PSA-2 for the 15" subs; BSR 15SW2's, soon to be ugraded to JL Audio 15W3's or better.
Crown DC300A Series II for the JBL 12" mids. This amp will be replaced by another PSA-2 soon, which will push the other 2 Crowns up to the horns and tweeters.
Crown DC300A Series II for the JBL 2350 horns w/2482 drivers.
Marantz 1060 Integrated Amp for the Preamp and Tweeter amp; JBL 2402's "Bullet" tweeters.
I'll also be getting a brand new Behringer FBQ6200 Ultragraph 2x31 Band Equalizer for my birthday this year. I just can't afford the nice digital EQ's, they are the bomb!
CD player.
DBX-503 Rack mount 3 band expander w/remote control.
DBX-100 Sub-Harmonic Synthesizer for added "bottom"
(3) Furman TX-3 Active crossovers to divide it all up.
I split off at about 180 to the subs; the signal then is sent to each of the other crossovers, one for the left and one for the right, and divided up for the (2) 12" mids, 1 horn, and 1 bullet.
The Crown IC-150 preamp hums and needs a tune up.
I LIKE MY ROCK MUSIC LOUD! SERIOUSLY LOUD!
Now you see what I mean by "Call the cops loud!"
Also, here is a pix of my Super Tuner.

What's your ham callsign? I see the license on the wall.
