Hi Mike...

One of my Ham radio friends came up with, what seems like, an interesting idea...

Now that we're approaching the 1 year anniversary of the DTV changeover he suspects more people have bought digital TVs and have ceased using converter boxes. Some of these unused converter boxes are bound to turn up at garage / yard sales. I plan on looking around, this Summer, to see if I can find any deals on used DTV boxes. Who knows, a good DTV box might be found for $5.

I need mine, but there's always eBay or Amazon.

Yea, ya know, I never thought about that......I'm gonna go looking tomorrow,it being Friday most sales start that day so I'll give it a try. Thanks for waking me up! I kinda knew e-bay would have them but I just don't like bidding wars for something like that. I found a few on Amazon, but they are like $80 for an Insignia.Kinda expensive for me! I'll keep looking.:)

Wow, great! Did you get the remote control too? ***Very important!*** (I saw some on eBay but w/out remote.)

Don't forget....manual tuning, when DXn! The subchannels are for when you get the main. Of course when not DXn, the subs can provide some quirky programming....

Yea I got the remote too! Everything seems to be working fine....I just have to get the hang of this thing as to how to effectively use it!
