Hi,
This from about 1:45 PT today.... an ad that fades at the most unfortunate time. After the beer ad, there's one for a club in, I think, Kansas City. Can anyone help pull out the club name, and the city name if I'm wrong?
Thanks!

To quote "American Idol"'s Randy Jackson, "It just ain't happenin' for me, dude".
I heard what sounded like "Club World America" or possibly even "Club Med America" and then a fade later "Kansas City". None of it makes any real sense.

Yow, it wuz awright dawg.....
I actually think it might have been a national ad, or part of a show. 92.7 and KC just don't seem to go together anyway... :-).

Yeah, I couldn't find any reasonable connections for KC and 92.7.
But you're the bomb, man....

Maybe i'm smoking something different than the rest of you, but this is what I hear....
"Modelo and Corona, imported by Barton Beers of Cond...(???) <maybe Canada?>, then bumper music and voice "Outback Nightclub North America, the club welcomes..."(fades!!!)
I know for a fact that Barton Beers' North American hq is in Chicago, but the announcer isn't saying Chicago!? I found a couple mentions of Outback Nightclub on Google - pointing to Canada, but no direct link or city mentions. So, its still up in the air here along the Rocky Mountain Front Range.

I heard the Barton's Beer thing, but I was concentrating on the name of the club. But I'd thought ( without replaying it ) that I'd heard a mention of Chicago also, although that could simply have been a company HQ mention.

Yep, the Chicago reference is definitely there - it's where the beer importer is headquartered. http://www.bartoninc.com/ContactUs/contactus.htm
So, Jim, you don't hear the Kansas City at the end? I'm still blown away by how differently everyone hears these clips. :-).

Hey, I finally picked out the 'Kansas City' voice and it doesn't sound like the same voice as the 'nightclub' spot. Maybe it was a bit of another radio stations signal??
The only Outback Nightclub thing i'm getting off Google thats credible, but doesn't use the 'nightclub' word is this...

Its quite possible Dave that your station had a bit of 'network feed' right at that point??? The weird part is that the announcer with the Barton Beers spot sounds like he's saying 'Condorolla' or something similar, instead of Chicago, Illinois, as I would expect. Oh well.......
