At 12:20 PM today I got one of the longest Ms burns I've ever experienced. It almost sounds like it was trop or a brief burst of ES.

It starts out as WLOQ Orlando, FL with "Singing in the Rain" then it becomes a mix of LOQ and PBZ, then finally it switches into a full signal from WPBZ Indiantown, FL with "Crazy Bitch". Finally a few mins later as the song is ending (figures) the burn switches twice into a spot (sounds like a live remote) for a "Blackberry 7390" at Sandcomm (maybe?) I’m guessing that was maybe WFKZ who was in as well previously. Finally the burn ended with a bit of country which may have been WAIB Tallahassee.

In all... wow. The songs for the two were verified on Yes.com, its just a shame the burn wasn’t better timed. That must have been one heck of a meteor!

*- haha one word of warning, for those who might be sensitive to lyrics use some caution when listening to the file when PBZ comes on. It would figure, I'm writing a paper on Ms for a college project and have been recording samples of Ms… it’d figure I’d get a burn like that and that song would be on. It wouldn’t be very appropriate to be blasting in class.

Without a doubt that is the longest most solid Ms burn I've ever heard.

Amazing!

Michael,

Nope, the radio spot was a station in NC or SC. The Blackberry 7390 is a cell/pda phone from Cingular. The announcer says "Suncom", which is a cellphone service provider in those two states, plus Puerto Rico.

That is one incredible burn...it easily tops the one I put up on the forum yesterday.

How do you know that the additional stations at the end were from the same rock?

Great clip though ... sure beats listening to NDB's on longwave. :p
