May 11 and it's been since that odd off season sporadic E spell in late January- early February that any skip has come through on the FM receiver here.
This whimpy opening lasted about 45 minutes total and the only FM station ID'ed was 89.3 YSLR "Cool FM" from San Salvador, El Salvador 10kw at 1167 miles.
The real treat was getting a logo ID of YNTC channel 2 Managua, Nicaragua. This is the first time I have positively ID'ed Nicaragua on TV. The logo ID was reinforced shortly after by an ad showing prices in Cordobas - Nicaragua's currency.
