This one came in strong for about 8 minutes just after 2pm May 27 on 102.5 MHz. There's an ID but it doesn't match anything in "Emisoras de FM" unless I am hearing it wrong. Sounds like 102.7 Stereo Shalom" I wonder if it's a repeater? Shortly afterwards 98.9 in Campeche, Mexico was heard and ID'ed. there were no other FM signals other than weak unid SS talk on 88.7 and 89.3 briefly.

I hear, "Vientequatro en transmiendo un mil, ciento dos punto siete <eh-feh eh-meh>, Estéreo Shalom" <Twenty four hours transmitting with 1000 watts, 102.7fm, Stereo Shalom>

I had to dig through the 'pirate radio station' files provided from the University of San Carlos (Cd. Guatemala) and here are the only two known matching the slogan of the announcer:

99.7 GT HUE Aguacatán Shalon Estéreo religion (power unknown)
103.5 GT SUC Chicacao Estéreo Shalom Musical Christian music (power unknown)

Of course pirates in most countries tend to change frequencies periodically, hoping to not get shut down. Therefore, I would expect it would be one of these two, rather than thinking its a new station, if you believe its from Guatemala, which I tend to think it is. Why you heard it on 102.5 instead of 102.7? Maybe their transmitter is tuned incorrectly, or they've already switched frequencies and their ID doesn't reflect that. I'm not sure that its really a repeater though.
