This is a extract from my log in Excel with everything from May 26-29. I'm experimenting with this to simplify things.
Here's how I spent Memorial Weekend! :o
Friday much of the opening was missed to other obligations but unattended recording produced several loggings. May 28 was the big one with over 5 hours of Es, often in multiple directions. That evening while recording 93.9 WNYC New York, KMGN Arizona came in off the back null of the antenna, but not ID'ed until later. It pays to record.....
103 new stations heard bringing total to 1109
New Es shortest distance record - 495 miles with 93.5 WAXM Virginia and 3rd shortest distance with 616 mile 94.9 WMOJ Ohio with RDS hit "MOJO", Michael & Jeffs Dayton visit local :)
2 new US states - 94.9 WHOM New Hampshire and 93.9 KMGN Arizona bringing US state total to 42 since this time last year. + 98.9 XHCMN Campeche, Mex. making Mexico about half logged now. Here's a map of all the states/countries heard over the weekend. And a few exceptional audi o recordings.
Without a doubt this was the busiest Es weekend I've experienced since becoming a "hard core FM DXer" and joining this exciting club.
Hope everyone did well too. Her'es to a great Es season 2006.
