The following came in during the 6/18 E-Skip opening... I had a few unids in my notes but no luck. One was giving the Caribbean Sea forecast another was an ID that I only have down as WWF-- in FL which could be several. Other Unids were coming over the local 162.400 in Atlantic City and 500 but no IDs came though. For example when it came to the local forecast it'd say "Here's the forecast for the local area" vs actually giving a geographic location.

I wish I had recorded these, but as it turned out I couldn’t find my patch cord.

162.550 KIH-59 1000 watts- Current Conditions for Evergreen... Dozier, AL [858 miles] (NWS Mobile)
162.450 KXI-76 300 watts- W-Central GA listening area... La Grange, GA [730 miles] (NWS Atlanta)
162.475 WNG-646 1000 watts- SW AL observations... Brewton, AL [909 miles] (NWS Mobile)
162.425 WNG-640 1000 watts- Around the local area in Gulfport Obs... Leakesville, MS [972 miles] (NWS Mobile)
162.450 KXI-28 1000 watts- Regional conditions including Macon... Sandersville, GA [640 miles] (NWS Atlanta)
162.450 WXJ-72 300 watts- NW GA Mountains forecast... Taylor’s Ridge, GA [683 miles] (NWS Atlanta)
162.525 KZZ-70 1000 watts- Regional condx including Panama City with marine wx... Blakely, GA [806 miles] (NWS Tallahassee)

My first positive IDs on the WX Band via ES, awesome opening!
On the ham side I could hear people simplex on (146)520 from S-FL.

Outstanding DXing! 640 mile Es at 162 MHz is a rare catch indeed. The MUF over this hot spot calculates at 216 MHz. I saw a report of TV13 E skip during the height but I haven't seen anyone post reports. Perhaps there were no positive ID's.
