I brought the Denon tuner on my trip down here. While it doesn't allow me to grab PI's, I did manage to snag a number of stations' PS, PTy, and RT data which will hopefully prove useful in someone's Es loggings!
88.1 KZSC Santa Cruz (the radio station of my alma mater!)
DPS = GREAT 88 KZSC SANTA CRUZ REQUESTS 459-4036
PTy = Public
RT = Same as DPS
88.9 KUSP Santa Cruz (as well as 89.1 K206BQ and 89.3 K207DH) -- in another life I had an overnight dj slot on this station.
DPS = KUSP - CENTRAL COAST PUBLIC RADIO
PTy = Public
RT = Same as DPS, except different RT noted when "All Things Considered" was on "ALL THINGS CONSIDERED ON KUSP"
90.3 KAZU Monterey
PS = KAZU FM
PTy = Public
TP
RT = None noted; signal strength might have been too low but I actually think no RT.
92.3 KSJO San Jose (Still can't believe this is no longer butt-rock)
DPS = 92.3KSJO / Preciosa
PTy = Rock (yeah, right)
RT = Artist / Title / Preciosa (en espanol)
94.5 KBAY San Jose
PS = KBAY-FM
PTy = Soft Rock
95.3 KRTY Los Gatos
PS = KRTY953
PTy = Country
95.5 KBOQ Carmel
PS = 955KBACH
PTy = Classical
RT = Classical KBACH 95.5 KBOQ Carmel
96.9 KWAV Monterey
PS = KWAV97FM
PTy = Soft Rock
RT = THE HOME OF BARRY BROWN IN THE MORNING 5:30 TO 9AM MONDAY-FRIDAY
101.7 KCDU Carmel
PS = THEBEACH
PTy = Adult Hits
RT = ****** 101.7 THE BEACH! FUN MUSIC UPBEAT VARIETY
102.5 KDON Salinas
PS = 1025KDON
No PTy or RT noted; will try again tonight
103.9 KSCX Seaside
PS = SCX103.9
PTy = Rock
No RT noted
104.3 KHIP Hollister
PS = THEHIPPO
PTy = Classic Rock
RT = Home of Bob & Tom Wkdy Mornings 5-9, Great Classic Rock All Day
106.5 KEZR San Jose
PS = MIX1065
PTy = Adult Hits
RT = * MIX 106.5 TODAY’S BEST MIX *
I know the SF stations (most of 'em) run RDS, as I had most on Es this June. But from my location here I am unable to pull the signal in well enough, especially with rabbit ears. Also, KAZU's IBOC definitely puts the kibosh on a few frequencies. I complain a lot about my RF environment at home, but it's even worse here!
