Screen shots: Using area satellite station WTTK-DT-54 (29.1), Kokomo, IN (3.3kW @ 499 feet) @ 29 miles.
1) First pic shows the OSD after entering true RF channel number (54). 2) Second pic shows the OSD after punching the "SETUP" button, then punching the "ANTENNA" button to see the signal meter screen. 3) Third pic shows the OSD after the tuner locates and decodes the signal and remaps the channel to its virtual channel number (29.1). This screen also shows the "NOW" signal strength plus the "PEAK" which was the highest level reached since it first decoded. This screen, however, does not display the call letters. 4) Fourth pic shows the OSD after punching the "DISPLAY" button which does display the call letters and the program title plus the current signal strength. BTW, it seems that the minimum signal reading needed to decode is around 16-19. Steve |

I thought those screen shots looked familiar. Those are almost exactly the same as my Sylvania SRZ-3000! Must be made by the same manufacturer...

Since both are made by Funai, I wonder how they compair. The Philco seemed about the same as the Zenith (and by extrapolation Insignia), which is a very good performance. The Magnaovx with RF pass through I think is available next month at WalMart. If it's as good as the Philco, I may go with Magnavox. Read about Philco vrs Zenith here:
